London Broncos CEO, Jason Loubser, added: “We are striving to spread the word of rugby league as well as the London Broncos brand as far and wide as possible. We see the huge opportunity in South Africa to grow the game and we are committed to helping the SRLSA develop both coaches and players as much as we can. “This latest collaboration is further indication that the African nations provide a fertile ground for developing and supporting the sport in terms of infrastructure and talent pathways,” commented Middle East Africa regional director Remond Safi. “South Africa, already as a full member, has the opportunity to take a leading role on the continent and this link up with the United Kingdom’s capital offers both parties a tremendous opportunity to make a real impact.”
